FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our services and care options.

Ocala Recruitment provides temporary care agency services to care providers across Suffolk. This means supporting people with various care needs in residential and nursing homes, learning disability services, amongst other care services.

We expect applicants to complete the registration process between 7 and 30 days.

The services we support will expect you to hit the ground running. Therefore, to ensure the skills, competence, and confidence we ask for a minimum of 6-months experience.

Our Compliance Officer will guide you through our compliance process, which will include our bespoke mandatory training. This serves to both demonstrate competence and enhance your own confidence. Our training process includes some e-learning and face-to-face training. This ensures that you have the opportunity to get hands on with the tools you will be using, and an opportunity to ask questions and build confidence.

One of the biggest challenges agency carers faces is the misuse of the zero-hour contract. At Ocala Recruitment understand that flexibility goes both ways. Therefore you are not obligated to pick up shifts, and we’re not obligated to offer them. Instead we work in partnership with you to get the work you want, when you want it. We like to say, say no to 100 shifts, just please turn up for the one that you say you will.

Its weekly pay. You get your timesheet in on Monday, and you will be paid that Friday. Simple.

Absolutely. The more flexible you are, the bigger your opportunities, but as an agency care worker, its your choice.

At Ocala Recruitment, our team is available 24/7 on call. If you need support, we’re available.
