Carers Week 2022

Carers Week 2022

Carers Week is an annual campaign that is predominately designed to raise awareness for unpaid carers that support people in their homes and the community. Unpaid carers do amazing work in often very challenging circumstances.

Carers Week has a website and organisation dedicated to raising awareness and support for unpaid carers which you can see here https://www.carersweek.org/

At Ocala Recruitment, we take Carers Week as an opportunity to show paid carers that they are valued and appreciated for the work that they do.

So to mark Carers Week in June this year we delivered chocolates to over 20 care services and Ipswich Hospital, as well as inviting all of our care team to a Chinese Buffett lunch in Ipswich!

We had great fun, and it was another event that felt like family coming together!
